Summer Fun

Saturday night I took Mitchell, Cassidy, Mercedes, Meriah, Zane and Zoe to the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser. They had it over at Traditions. They had one inflatable, face painting, open houses, games, and a movie at night. But their favorite thing was the Home Depot booth. They helped the kids make all sorts of things. Such as :cars, flower boxes and boats. They were at that booth for over an hour. I told them if they kept it up they could start building onto my house. Meriah and Mitchell

Mitchell and Cassidy are attending the Community Education summer program. They have been doing many activities this summer. Last Thursday Community Education held a prom for all of the kids at camp. They held the prom at Lost River Cave. Cassidy(my little socialite) couldn't wait to go. Mitchell didn't want to go and asked to spend the time with his aunt Danielle. They said that anyone was invited so Cassidy wanted to bring her cousins Mercedes and Meriah. The counselors at camp have been teaching the kids new dance moves. That was their night to show off what they learned. Cassidy and the girls got all dressed up. They had a fun time.

My little girl is 6

I can't believe my Cassidy is six today. It seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. Where does the time go? We picked up Cassidy from summer camp and let her choose her fun. She Chose ToysRUs and ChuckECheese. We started at Toys R Us and of course that was fun. Toys R Us is fun at any age. Cassidy made her selections with her birthday money and then we headed to Chuck E Cheese. John and I weren't real excited about Chuckies for dinner, but it wasn't our birthdays. Zane got a bite of pizza and wouldn't let go. That baby just wants some real food. And then we headed home for some cake and Cassidy's last present(a bike). Then we tried to get everyone calmed down for bed. I'm a little exhausted, especially when I think I still have Mitchell, Zane and Zoe's birthdays coming so soon. I have June, July, and August babies. But, I know it is all worth it to see how excited they get.
We also had a party for Cassidy on sunday at Russell Sims Aquatic. She was so happy to have her friends celebrate with her.

I'm going to try the blogging thing, I don't know how successful I will be. I don't have a lot of time on the computer. I love reading everyone else's blogs. It's nice to have something to help you stay connected in this busy crazy world.
