Babies at 11 months

The other day I walked by Cassidy and Zoë's room and noticed that the light was on. Zoë was supposed to be sleeping. I thought Cassidy had turned on the light. I was surprised to see that Zoë had learned to turn on the switch. The switch does light up when off. So she probably was drawn to the light. Here's Zane happy to be up and ready to go. Zane is my best sleeper of all four. He started sleeping all night at four months. Mitchell was my worst, he was two before he started sleeping all night. Zane has also been going from a sitting position to standing. So it won't be long before he's walking all over.

This is Zoë trying to help unload the dishwasher. I can't keep her out of it.

Mitchell and Cassidy used to sit in the back of the van, but there was too much fighting. I let them each sit by a baby and they have done much better.

Happy to Mad in 3.5 seconds

See this sweet little baby boy who is obsessed with paper. He is stuffing a baby wipe in his mouth as fast as he can. I try to get it out as fast as I can. You see how fast his mood changes.

We had a small party for Mitchell at the water park last weekend. His aunt Danielle got him this Iron Man costume. Mitchell loves to dress up.
We also went to the concerts in the park last Friday night. It was a great night for it. There were a lot of people there. And we ran into a bunch of people from church and work. Mercedes, Meriah and Cassidy played on the inflatables, got their faces painted and played in the knew fountain at Circus Square. It was lots of fun.

My Mitchell is 8

Last night I told Mitchell I couldn't believe my baby was going to be eight. He told me he is not a baby, but a big kid. He's still my baby! He chose Toys R Us and Chuck E Cheese. He picked out one small thing at Toys R Us, so John took him to Walmart later. Mitchell came home with a sack full of stuff. He loves action figures, movies and video games. Of course he only had one video game up until now. Mitchell's favorite saying on his Birthday was "It's my Birthday, so I can.....". John and I were able to finish his sentences by the end of the night.

Weekend of the Fourth

This was definitely the wettest fourth of July holiday I ever remember. But that didn't stop my children from wanting to get out and enjoy it. We went as a family(John, the kids and I) to the corvette museum festivities on the 3rd. We almost didn't go, but Cassidy is very persistent. Mitchell and Cassidy look forward to those inflatables every year. We stayed only for a little bit, but the kids enjoyed every minute.

On Saturday my mom, Angela, Mercedes, Meriah, Cassidy,Mitchell and I went to go see Kit Kittridge. It was a very cute move. I think the girls and Mitchell learned a little about the great depression. They all seemed to enjoy it. After the movies we ate lunch at Anna's Greek Restaurant. Anna's is one of our favorite places to eat.

On Sunday we all went to church. Then there was a potluck after church. Then we headed to the water park. It actually wasn't overwhelmingly crowded that day.
